the room was very nice...clean and modern! The shower was also amazing!!

The man at the front desk was incredibly rude. He was very short tempered with me anytime I had questions. The older woman was very pleasant, but this man was almost unbearable and very frustrating. He was not very helpful at all.

Location near tram stops. Also just minutes away from the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum. Numerous restaurants within ten minutes walk. Good buffet breakfast for only five euros. We had a modernised room with balcony. Good value for Amsterdam which is expensive in general.

Part of the place is a hostel which means lots of youngsters from across the world. Some may not like this but we were quite happy with them in spite of some occasional night noise. A notice was displayed, however, reminding them to be quiet.

Location is very close to museums. Room was very clean and quiet.

On three separate occasions a staff member entered our room uninvited using a pass key on check-out day to tell us we had to depart by 11 am. They arrived around 8 am, 9 am, and 10 am and were told we understood the checkout time and were asked not to return. The door lock security feature did not secure the door which is quite worrisome. Needless to say, we found this a huge invasion of privacy not the way to treat responsible customers you want to return.

The room was very very small. There was nothing to rember Van Gogh (on the internet there were paintings in every room)

I think part of the facility is a hostel as well, so my first impression upon arriving was a lobby full of teenagers who looked like they were trying to recover from the previous night...however the two parts of the establishment are separated by the lobby. My room, though immaculate was incredibly tiny, the only place I could open my suitcase was on the bed.

The room was so small and some dust.Noize from elevator bothered all night.

Unique hotel with comfortable rooms in great location, just a few steps from Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum. Breakfast (5 Euro per person) is good value for the money.

The only reasonably priced parking lot is about 3 kilometers away. But it is very easy to go back to the hotel by tram (and you get a free tram ticket at the parking lot).

I liked the location. It is convenient for those who came to see cultural attractions in Amsterdam. There is Wi Fi and it's good

I do not like single rooms - they are extremely small. They are not all well thought out. For example, in the bathroom no hooks for towels. In this hotel a lot of young people and this is the reason why the hotel is noisy, common areas dirty. I would not recommend this hotel to businessmen

Great location - right next to the van gough museum and coster diamonds, making it a good base to explore the city . Team lines 2 and 5 takes you to Amsterdam central station on 15 mins. There's a large supermarket nearby. Rooms were very clean decor was modern and stylish ( a few abstract paintings on the walls).

Our room didn't have a fridge.

Good location, reasonable price. Breakfast was good value, staff were pleasant and helpful. Lots of hot water and clean towels.

Nice and helpful people in the reception. Brekafast OK. Internet connection - good.

Lack of toiletpaper in the toilets (two rooms). Lack of egg cups in the breakfast bar. Please do something about it.

New refurbished room, great location, good public trasportation (Tram 2,5), good breakfast, all in all good value for your money.

the reception staff were unpatient, maybe because it is the same reception for the hostel and the hotel.. also, in Booked.net it stated that there was a safe in the room but when we got there the staff just said that that the rooms are without safes.. thesedays it is a good feeling to know that you can leave your valuables in a room safe with no worries..

Relation between price, quality and location

I was staying in 4th floor. Water preasure in shower was rather low. Water was just droping. Try to avoid last floors.

Very convenient location and attractive setting. Very large park nearby. Close access to many tram and bus routes.
